  I like the way these children look so directly into the camera – calm and self-confident.
  I wonder whether your Michauds are from Quebec? I used to think that all the French-speaking peoples of the southern U.S. had Acadian or French Canadian blood but after reading a bit of history I now know that Louisiana was full of French settlers!
