I’ve been busy traveling and tending to visiting family and sick toddler, thus missing all the excitement at GW. I really don’t need more drama in my life. Is it worth checking out? Or should I pass?

Thank you Craig for your insightful summary of my involvement in the GW controversy. You are one of the few writers thus far to cut to the chase especially in all of the implied reasons as to why my work was censored. I guess if you say “rude” and “disrespectful” and “bashing” and “profanity” and “porn” enough times while discussing a post that has been vaporized that everyone will come to the conclusion that Thornton was all of these things and perhaps more.

Yes, I accepted the CEO’s apology — I think he was sincere. And yes, I accepted the hired hand’s apology for removing my discussion post. I forgive them both but I’ll never forget what they did to me and to the blogging community.

Thanks Craig for the mention – I think many of us want the best to come out of this situation and really want a social media platform without all the nonsense at Facebook. I am still in the wait and see category and I will be adding some content over the weekend – we will see what next week brings.

When I saw Thornton’s post re: the initial contest, I was ambivalent. I could see his points, but wasn’t terribly concerned about the contest myself. However, their censorship of him was beyond lame and v. irritating. Still, like yourself, I’m more “we’ll see” than anything. I do think there’s a niche for them to fill here.
