Well I will certainly be interested in anything you have to say about Kit Carson. El Toyon, my DAR chapter here in Stockton is awaiting permission from DAR National to place a bronze memorial marker for Kit Carson next to the one we placed for General John Fremont near the Calaveras River where they camped on the way home after mapping a huge portion of the Western Frontier.
