Yes! After months of the thick fog of personal and family health   issues, we’re seeing a light through the clouds. So I’ll be here again on a regular basis. I’m starting out by focusing on my Gines family, their origins in America, and the scattering of the family far and wide. We’ll talk about how I know what I know about them. This will lead us to discuss some research techniques and resources. Then we’ll discuss preparation for my first field research trip since 2007. We will be going to Colorado, Missouri and Texas.

We will announce discoveries in the 1940 census and talk about our experiences indexing the 1940 census. We’ll explore other resources for the 1940s.
