I’ve been researching my family tree from Maryland. I’m related to Bowies from Maryland. Do you know if any of your Bowie family members moved to Maryland? Thanks.
I am the daughter of Samuel Bowie from Longview, Texas. It was a pleasure to have found that someone in our family has taken the initiative to trace our family roots. I also began a journey of trying to trace our ancestry. I’ve encountered some Bowies in my field of work. They too stated that were from Louisiana but I did not know at that time that our family were also located in Louisiana. I look forward to speaking more and filling in any blanks from my half of the tree. I would like to be an active family member in the endeavor of finding more roots to our tree. It has truly warmed my spirit. Thank you until we speak again.
I have yet to make ANY connections for my WEEDEN,
WHILDEN, WEELDON/BROWN AA/Native family line of
SC, NC and VA but have come across info that has me suspecting that the MD BOWIES are somehow connected.
Would LOVE to hear from ANYONE who might find this
info of interest.
